Like the calm of the blue unseen,
Like the bliss of deepest green,
Like the silence of the dark unbound,
Help me rid of this red which i have found,
O Goddess, I beg of thee.
While I writhe in reddened pain,
I hear the lizards keep laughing,
Dimwit they may be,
But how can they laugh?
O Goddess I have had enough.
And in time I think, the fool was I,
To the new world i havent opened my eye,
A world different from the one taught,
To not adapt is wrong, is it not?
O Goddess I ask of thee.
And I hide in my thickened hide,
In the shroud of my cloak I retract,
As with this world I fail to interact,
I deem myself unfit for this unfit world.
O Goddess pray for me.
