Awaken,
From the ever long slumber.
Close your eyes,
See beyond what your eyes show.
The beauty all around,
Too faint for your eyes to catch.
The eyes are deceitful,
Close them,
Wake up to the boundless sights
From light years apart,
Filling the sky above.
The shimmering glow hidden
By your neon strips,
Are more dazzling than the most
Wondrous sights you have ever imagined.
And when you stare at the vastness without,
You will realise how inordinately insignificant
You are, in the scheme of things.
The woeful thoughts of mundane life
That steal away your nights,
Will seem tiny in front of that sight.
Worlds are shaken, ripped and shredded
At every moment you shake a lid.
And yet they too are insignificant
In the the vastness around.
Thus fret not on the hot coffee spilled,
It is unfortunate no doubt,
But you are lucky,
You can close your eyes,
You have more wonderful sights
Left to be seen.
From the ever long slumber.
Close your eyes,
See beyond what your eyes show.
The beauty all around,
Too faint for your eyes to catch.
The eyes are deceitful,
Close them,
Wake up to the boundless sights
From light years apart,
Filling the sky above.
The shimmering glow hidden
By your neon strips,
Are more dazzling than the most
Wondrous sights you have ever imagined.
And when you stare at the vastness without,
You will realise how inordinately insignificant
You are, in the scheme of things.
The woeful thoughts of mundane life

And yet they too are insignificant
In the the vastness around.
