Trekking through the darkened nights

Shimmering hues of stars afar,
Burning through the fading night,
Shine on the hesitant grass,
Bristling in the criss cross winds.

The faded dawn is still afar,
The deep abyss regales the night behind,
You take the uncertain nimble steps,
Blindly, to lands unknown, fates unseen.

Far into the shinning future,
Where the sparkling meadows sprawl,
You may swat away this stormy night,
Into the bottomless well of irrelevance.

Yet tonight, the land is dark,
Clouds hide the spineless moon,
The stars with their ever changing smiles,
Are all there is for you to walk on.
