Dreaming the bald eagle
Have sweet dreams of mountains and valleys
And rattlers and the bald eagle
And the pristine mountain lakes.
With a sweet kiss from the icy glaciers aloft
Which touch your mind with cold breath so sweet,
That fill your heart with tears unknown.
And when you contemplate the reasons
For the falling waters down the ravines of your wrinkled face,
Your head is swirling with thoughts so serene
That you do not know if the tears are of joy or pains within.
And all you can do is cry with a smile on your face,
Looking up at the bare blue sky, with the bald eagle so high.
