The album old, in the present new.

Sifting through the pages old,
Of smiling days, of teary past,
I freeze for a seconds few,
As I turn the pages new.

The faces old with wrinkles new,
Each page brightens a memory lane,
How different we were from now,
The happy duels, the losers bow.

Those skirmishes now seem thin,
You, the burdened wiser now,
Lost is the innocent gleam,
As you finally lived your dream.

The wild childish strenuous games,
Seemed so serious back then,
Now all I have are the smiles,
As I recollect from many miles.

The lines of fate diverging out,
Destined heroes marching on,
Oh! how different the present is,
From the future in our past dreams.
