An evening walk

Orange clouds beyond green tops,
Scatter around the golden streams,
You are a pleasant sight to see,
For bored eyes drooping gray.

Silent sculptors sculpt away,
Shedding away marble chips,
Beauty shines through blissfull eyes,
Hoping, you can see it someday.

Little birds do chirp around,
For no reason known to me,
You do sing a pleasant song,
For tired ears amidst the fray.

Setting red sun hanging low,
Beyond the horizon's reach,
Reminds me of a place to be,
As I walk down the evening path.

Orange clouds now I have to go,
May the sculptors sculpt you so,
May the birds sing your praise,
As I walk this path some other day.
