My little sail boat,
Stranded in waters deep,
Waiting since times long,
For Easterly winds to blow.
My little sail boat,
With sails so pretty!
Coloured bright,
Green and red.
Oriental touches,
In the China thread!
And red shinning sturdy wood,
As a strong sail boat should!
But alas! the sails have drooped,
The winds have not blown.
And hence I heave a patient sigh,
As I dream to sail to the sunset.
Many a eons have passed,
The waters clear and tranquil,
Pretty coloured fishes swim by,
Leaving me bored behind.
And then she rose from eastern deep,
Blackened blue, darkened strips,
Flashes with brilliant white,
The wind began to pick its might.
She came over in a blink of eye,
Winds blew my sails up high,
Awakened from its slumber fest,
The sails spread out full of zest.
My boat whipped past the coloured fish,
Touching the tops of towering crests,
Foaming white the sea competes,
Saluting the return of wild sea beasts.
And once asail, I will not stop,
My little boat will sail to the drop,
To the golden setting horizon sun,
Over the azure sea we shall run.
Stranded in waters deep,
Waiting since times long,
For Easterly winds to blow.
My little sail boat,
