Black naked alleys aligned,
Shadows of scrappers tall,
The dark stench it does hide,
The city's battered walls.
Roads bright with neon lamps,
Glistening sick shinny straps,
Colored tides changing shades,
The night grinds its slow grasps.
The white beaches bare and blue,
Flesh strewn where vultures flock,
Greasy pockets bulging high,
Wealth smirched ships line the dock.
The city of colors, that hurt your eye,
A juxtaposed puzzle of powdered life,
That trickle down the panes so clear,
You hide in values you hold so dear.
