Rains lashed the Celtic shores,
The nimble wind chimes rang,
As she danced her one last dance,
The crushed lilies sang.
Wet hair sweeping her face,
The white lilies now red,
The statues stood silent, straight,
Around the place where she was to wed.
The sea sprayed its frothing foam,
On the rocks where he lay,
The graying sea tried touching the sky,
As she smiled and danced away.
The nimble wind chimes rang,
As she danced her one last dance,
The crushed lilies sang.
Wet hair sweeping her face,
The white lilies now red,
The statues stood silent, straight,
Around the place where she was to wed.
The sea sprayed its frothing foam,
On the rocks where he lay,
The graying sea tried touching the sky,
As she smiled and danced away.
