The stagnant decadence

Wavering unease clouds my mind,
A restlessness unknown grips the days
That stream by my fingers like falling sand,
In the end, I am helplessly hollow.

Caught in an whirlpool of decay,
I Aimlessly bounce around the river bed
Against rocks strewn across my path,
Till the end of day demands I lay down for rest.

A thousand plans adorn the morning dew,
Caught in a glacial wake none do bloom,
Must be none do truly appeal to my soul,
As the mistress time grips with shriveled hands.
