As clear as the blue sea ice,
As a few sun rays does suffice,
As azure as the sky serene,
Give me my shinning green.
When the mind is overwhelmed,
With the sad din of daily life,
Take a short detour into the wild,
The green washes away the strife.
Have you seen the fireflies dance?
In the cold night as calm descends?
The black velvet alive with light,
In its fine mist your mind ascends.
As bright as a mother's tear,
As quiet as my frozen lips dear,
As black as the night serene,
Bring back my long lost green.
